The purpose
of the event was to introduce one of the most famous and the longest overland
Oregon train in North America.
1. Lead-in.
Students in groups were given new vocabulary to match with English definitions
through the help of the example sentences.
2. We made
Power Point Presentation about American
Pioneers.
3. Students
were given the map of the USA and their task was to draw travel line on it.
4.The game
' Scavenger Hunt' was played in groups to check what the students remembered
from the presentation.
5. Students
in groups were given the colored paper to make a cup and a ball for the
game.( 'cup & ball game'was one of
the games that the children played during the Oregon trail.)Competition was
held between groups in throwing the ball into the cup.
6. Karaoke.
Students sang the song ' Oh my darling Clementine'
