 Day 5 – Gender and Stereotypes

 Guest Speaker -Peace Corps Volunteer Jessica Bellama   introducing the topic ‘ Gender and Stereotypes’



Groups  prepare and make presentations about the topic ‘ Women who changed the world’

Day 4 – Topic:  Challenges and Life- experience

Team Web Game. This game enhances students’ team building skills by requiring effective communication in order to deal with the challenges. 





Guest Speaker – The parents of Peace Corps volunteer Jessica Bellama speak about their life experience in the USA and in Africa.


   

The card game ‘ The Woodland Elves’ The game consists of 52 two-sided elf cards. The ELF cards display a variety of expressions and emotions and present scenarios depicting moral dilemmas.



Day 3 . Topic: Inventions

Groups search the information about teenage inventions, design posters         and  make  presentations of their posters.





Day 2.  Greeting , Team building activities and Leadership.

Students are divided into two teams. Teams pick which colored paper they wish to use for the hands . Have students in their teams individually trace out their hands and on each finger write goals, strengths, weaknesses, hopes, and challenges. Students share with their team members what they wrote on their hands.
 Teamss stick their hands on a flipchart paper in whichever shape they would like.
 Teams create posters with motto, logo, and rules and invent their dance.



Team building activity – Marshmallow challenge.  Students are shown the presentation about the rules of this activity and are asked to follow the rules.  At the end of the activity teams speak about the challenges they faced during working together and how they tried to overcome them.
